SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The role of Senior Reservoir Engineer, is to work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to provide reservoir engineering support to help maximize the asset value, and will be responsible for well testing operations, obtaining requested data and communication with both Calgary and CNOOC etc.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
¡ñ Acquiring reservoir engineering data according to the standards stipulated by the Chinese government, including data well testing, lab analysis etc.
¡ñ Build up good communication between Calgary and CNOOC Shenzhen concerning the deep-water project.
¡ñ Participating in evaluating OGIP and compiling ODP in Chinese for deep-water & shallow projects
¡ñ To be a member of the Joint Operations Group at the development stage
¡ñ Estimating reserves and forecasting for property evaluations and development planning.
¡ñ Supervising well test and reservoir data acquisition
¡ñ Predicting reserves and performance for well proposals.
¡ñ Developing and applying reservoir optimization techniques.
¡ñ Developing cost effective reservoir monitoring and surveillance programs.
¡ñ Analyzing pressure transients: Designing and coordinating petrophysical studies.
¡ñ Analyzing the economics and risk assessments of major development programs.
¡ñ Estimating reserves for producing properties.
¡ñ Keeping track of Wenchang 13/1-2 Oilfields' performance, work over opeartions and drilling operations
Certifications ¨C Academic:
¡ñ BSC or higher in Reservoir Engineering
¡ñ At least 10 years of industry experience
¡ñ Demonstrated sound knowledge of reservoir engineering, with a focus towards offshore field development
¡ñ Working knowledge of geology and drilling
¡ñ Detailed knowledge of Chinese Petroleum Industry
¡ñ Fluency in Chinese ¨Cboth oral and written
